Thanksgiving...

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family. Meredith got to see all of her aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. It was really nice to spend time with everyone. We have many, many things to be thankful for, especially our health and our families.

It is hard to believe that this time last year, we didn't even know what our baby's name was going to be. Now this year, Meredith is eating dressing and sweet potatoes with us. I can't believe that our sweet baby girl is almost one your old!

Meredith is becoming more and more fun every day. I can't wait to see her in the mornings and I can't wait to pick her up from daycare in the afternoons so we can play. She truly is the best thing in our lives!!!

I think her top teeth might be coming in soon. She has been drooling a lot this week and clinching her gums down on her 2 bottom teeth. I can't wait until they come in so she can start eating other foods. All this baby food is turning her nose orange!!!
She had her Christmas pictures taken on Wednesday. She looked so cute!! I can't wait to get the pictures back.

She had an appointment with Dr. Fairchild this week too. She had her ears rechecked and there is still a little fluid behind them. She has had a runny nose so I am sure that is what caused it. The doctor put her on Augmentin to clear it up. We have to go back in 2 weeks to have them rechecked again and to get her Flu vaccine booster shot. She hasn't gotten the swine flu vaccine, but I am wondering if she should get it or not. One of her friends at daycare has been out all week with the swine flu. I pray that no one else gets it.

Don't even know where to start....

I know it's been awhile since I have posted. We have been busy playing with Meredith and watching her grow. She is growing way too fast!! She had her 9 month check up in October. She weighed 19 lbs 10 oz and 29.5 inches long. Everything went well, except for fluid behind one of her ears. We never would have known that she had an ear infection because she never complained about it. She was on antibiotics for 10 days and I guess that helped. We will be going back next week to have them rechecked.

Meredith has been having so much fun exploring. She isn't walking yet, but she is crawling and pulling up on everything. She is really figuring things out. She loves to pull up on her activity table, play music and dance. It is so much fun to watch.

Still no top teeth yet! She is still eating baby food and taking a bottle. I can't wait until she gets more teeth so she can try more foods. We did take her off the formula last week. She is a big girl that drinks whole milk now. :( Our baby is growing up!
