Just a little blurb...

Meredith is growing so much!! I can't believe she is 4 months old. She has been doing well with eating from a spoon. It is so much fun! She has now learned to rollover from her back to her belly. She just hasn't figured out how to get back. We haven't witnessed this rolling over yet. For the past couple of nights, she starts crying between 2:00 and 3:00am. When I get to her room, she is on her belly and obviously doesn't want to be that way. I hope it doesn't upset her for too much longer. I was enjoying that she slept 11 hours at night!

Here are a few pics from this week...

Check up...

Meredith had her 4 month check up a week early. The doctor says that she is doing great. She weighs 13.12 pounds and 25 inches long. The doctor said that she is a little longer than average, but her weight is about right for her age. Meredith was such a big girl for her shots. She cried just a little, but she cried really bad when the doctor was rotating her hips. Meredith doesn't like that at all. The doctor said that she doesn't think Meredith is ready for food yet. Probably in the next 2 to 3 weeks. I might start her on some yellow veggies next week. It can't hurt to try.

Meredith had a great Easter Sunday with her family. She didn't know what was going on, but she was showered with gifts from her cousins. Here are a few pictures...

Just a little update...

Meredith had a great week at daycare last week. They really take good care of her. I am so glad that she is staying with people that we trust. OB tells me that she is a good baby. Of course, I think she is a good baby, but to hear it from someone else makes me proud. Meredith seems to really like daycare.
We sort of had a busy weekend. Skip was in a wedding. So Friday night we had the rehearsal and dinner. Aunt Ginger and cousin Jessica kept Meredith. I was so glad to see that Meredith was awake when we got home just so I could see her for a few minutes. Right when I took her from Jessica, she fell asleep in my arms. The wedding was at 7:00 Saturday evening. We really had a good time. Aunt Dedda kept Meredith while we were out. We got home around 10:00. I was sad to find that Meredith was already asleep when we got home. I know she shouldn't have been awake that late, but I wanted to see her before I went to bed. She woke up around 11:30. She seemed okay. I just put her pacifier in her mouth and she went back to sleep. About an hour later, she woke up again. Her little nose was stopped up. I put her in the bed with me. She sneezed and coughed the entire night. I tried to prop her up, but it didn't seem to help. Needless to say, I didn't sleep at all. Early Sunday morning, Aunt Dedda (she spent the night) came to get Meredith from me so that I could get a couple of hours of sleep. When I woke up, I called the doctor. They told me to give her saline drop and put her under a humidifier. So I made a trip to Walmart. The saline drops seem to help her breath, but she didn't like the aspirator at all!! Being stopped up didn't seem to bother her, but it just breaks my heart. Sunday night, she slept okay with her bed slightly elevated. Monday morning, I dropped her off at daycare and OB told me that every child that came in had the same thing. So I guess it is just this time of year with all of the pollen and weather change. Yesterday, she was much better. This morning she woke up and seemed to be fine. I don't know why I was so stressed out about a stuffy nose. I hate to see how I react when she really gets sick!

We are very blessed to have so many people in our lives to help us with Meredith. We really do appreciate everyone's help!!! I don't think we will every have trouble finding a babysitter. :-)

Beautiful cousin Jessica. Meredith loves her so much... My aunt Ginger never wants to put me down, which is fine with me!
